The blog bikingcycles contains a collection of short beautiful stories and oddities encountered throughout a year of cycling around the world in 2011 and 2012. The Great Divide Mountain Bike Route was one of the chosen trails, it is very nicely described and maintained by the Adventure Cycling Association. I cycled the longest off-road journey in the world by starting on the Mexican border and then struggled northwards alongside the Continental Divide through the American and Canadian Rockies. This remote cycling trail crosses New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho, Montana (USA), British Columbia and Alberta (Canada). The divine experience of riding through an incredible scenery creates a memory for life.
Below the entries of the posts on the bikingcycles blog related to this very great adventure in North America, and a short selection of photos.
